PERF Public Presentation of Police Study Findings

Join the Berks County Board of Commissioners, the Berks Municipal Partnership and the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) for the first public unveiling of the Study of Police Services in Berks County.  After an extensive data collection process PERF has inventoried County policing services and will be unveiling an overview of the official findings of the Study as well as discussing their methodology and the resulting recommendations aimed at increasing effectiveness and efficiency while controlling costs.

Based in Washington, D.C., PERF is a national membership organization of police executives dedicated to improving policing through research and involvement in public policy debate.

Special thanks to the Reading Area Community College for hosting this presentation.  If you are unable to attend this important event in person the presentation will be broadcast LIVE on BCTV, Channel 13.  Copies of the Police Study will be available on the County website (http://www.co.berks.pa.us) beginning on July 15, 2009.
